Our Summer stories// Falls Church family photography

This past summer went by so fast. Every morning I could see my kids taller and bigger. And everyday I felt like I couldn’t catch up with them. I took lots of photos of them, more of just them being …themselves. I love to  photograph their daily routine in their own environment. When I’ll look at these photos years down the road I want to feel at least a little bit of what I felt this past summer watching them grow up under my eyes. I want to remember their innocence, happiness, moodiness, gentleness, them being worry free and full of imagination.

Behind our backyard there is a creek that turned out to be the best area to play. We spent lots of hours there just throwing rocks and looking for ‘fish’. Others days we’d bike or fly kites and every afternoon we tried to take it easy by reading books and playing with Mishu. Picking up the first figs from our tree was a huge hit of the summer  although they weren’t too crazy about the taste…

This was summer of 2015.
