Jonas Peterson Workshop – Destination Wedding Photographer

About two months ago my photography journey brought me to San Francisco. I always love to meet new people if it’s clients or other photographers to learn about their personal story.  This time around it was a person who’s been inspiring me for a while, Jonas Peterson, a Swedish guy established in Byron Bay, Australia. But ‘people don’t need information, they need a story’, he mentioned at his A Greater Story workshop. So, I won’t tell you much about Jonas, you can read more about him on his website. I can tell you what was the one thing that caught my first attention about him. The way his photos made me feel. Photos and stories of other people. Because somehow, I am always genuinely interested in a good story. Other than learning more about good stuff about weddings ( and so happy to serve my clients even better than before)  most of all I much enjoyed listening to his personal story that brought him to be one of the best wedding photographers in the world. Because after all, we do what we do because of who we are. And I truly believe that people choose to hire us because of how our photos make them ….feel. I really don’t want to spoil it, you would just have to attend one of Jonas’ workshops.

I was in San Francisco for almost 48 hours. The morning of the workshop, I woke up and rushed to the ocean . I quickly took some shots then joined Jonas and other 12 photographers for a full day of awesomeness.

I ended up my trip with an amazing sunset photo session with Mike and Laurene on the other side of Golden Bridge Bridge on these beautiful cliffs.
