‘It’s one thing to make a portrait of what a person looks like, it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are.’
This has been my motto ever since I started photography and I do my best to make it visible in my photographs. I believe that the greatest gift I could give my clients is providing them with an experience that helps them rediscover their authentic self, that results in artwork displayed in an album or a picture frame on their wall.
As an international wedding photographer based in both Washington DC and Seoul, I travel everywhere around the world to capture unique stories. Being born and raised in Romania and having lived in Italy for over five years helps me bring that European flare into my work.
I am a certified professional from The New York Institute of Photography, a member of The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers and award winner at Fearless Photographers. Some of my work was featured on several international blogs: Your Perfect Wedding Photographer, The Black Tie Bride, Save Family Photos, Bridal Beauty, United with Love, Artfully Wed.
Here’s more details on my work in this interview for MyWed.
My style is a combination of fine art and photojournalism. To me a wedding is all about moments of a couple who start a new life together, people who come to celebrate with you, the tears of being hugged by dad during the first dance, the small details that matter the most to you, it’s all about your love story that you want to pass down to the next generation.
As a mom, I also excel at photographing children. There is nothing better than capturing the wonder of discovery, the gentleness of trust and the joy of exploring the world! I’m always looking for ways to visually document the love within a family and in addition to traditional family portraits, I will work with you to create natural, one-of-a-kind photos that represent your family’s unique ties and unity. Happy to have won an Honorable Mention in the Black and White Child Photography Competition in the Fine Art category.
